How to Delete Your PawsitivID Account

We're sorry to see you go, but if you've decided to delete your PawsitivID account, here's how you can do it:

Steps to Delete Your Account

    Open the PawsitivID App

    Launch the app on your device and log in to your account.

    Go to Settings

    Tap on the Settings tab to access your account options.

    Select "Delete Account"

    Scroll down to find the "Delete Account" option at the bottom of the Settings page.

    Confirm Account Deletion

    A confirmation dialog will appear. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your decision to delete the account.

Important Information

14-Day Grace Period

Once you confirm deletion, your account and data will be scheduled for permanent deletion after 14 days.

Restore Your Account

If you change your mind, you can log back into your account within the 14-day grace period, and your account will be restored without any data loss.

Permanent Deletion

After the 14 days have passed, your account and all associated personal data — including your profile, pet profiles, documents, and photos — will be permanently deleted from our system and cannot be recovered.

Data We Retain

After deletion, we may retain certain data in anonymized or de-identified form for analytics and service improvement. We may also retain limited records as required by law, including payment and licensing transaction records for tax and regulatory compliance, and information necessary for fraud prevention. Active Licenses

If you have any active pet licenses, they will be invalidated upon permanent account deletion. Please ensure you have saved any records you may need.
