# Privacy Policy

The full PawsitivID privacy policy is in preparation. This page summarises what we collect today, including the optional lost-pet poster email opt-in.

## What we collect

PawsitivID collects pet profile data, owner contact information, photos used for biometric identification, vaccination records uploaded by owners and veterinarians, and licensing payment records when applicable.

## Email and the lost-pet poster

The free Lost Pet Poster tool runs entirely in your browser — your photo and the details you enter are not uploaded. If you tick the optional opt-in box to email yourself a copy, we collect your email address, with your consent, to send you the poster you created and occasional pet-safety tips. We use Resend to deliver these emails and to hold your address on our mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email, or by emailing privacy@pawsitivid.com. We do not sell your email address.

## How we use it

Data is used to identify pets, alert owners of matches, process licence applications and payments, operate the AI photo matching service, and — where you opt in — send your lost-pet poster and pet-safety tips.

To delete your PawsitivID account, see the [delete-account guide](https://www.pawsitivid.com/delete-account). A 14-day grace period applies before permanent deletion.
