("Company"). By creating an account or using the services, you agree to these Terms. ## 1. Description of Service PawsitivID is a digital platform that allows users and participating organizations to record, manage, and analyze identification data relating to companion animals, including dogs and cats. Services may include image-based identification, record storage, municipal licensing management, and verification tools. The Services may also be used in connection with third-party municipal licensing programs, animal shelters, or other animal management systems. Company does not control and is not responsible for the policies, decisions, licensing requirements, or enforcement actions of such third parties. ## 2. User Accounts You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You agree to: - provide accurate information - maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials - be responsible for activity under your account ## 3. User Content Users may upload images, records, licensing information, vaccination documentation, and other materials relating to animals ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content you grant Company a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and analyze such content for purposes of operating and improving the services. You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit any images, records, or information provided through the Services and that submission of such information does not violate the rights of any third party. ## 4. Acceptable Use You agree not to: - submit false or misleading identification or licensing information - impersonate ownership or control of an animal - interfere with operation of the platform - use the service for unlawful purposes ## 5. Aggregated and De-Identified Data Company may aggregate, anonymize, or otherwise de-identify information derived from User Content or use of the Services such that the resulting information does not reasonably identify any individual user, account, or specific animal. Company may use, disclose, retain, and analyze such aggregated or de-identified information for lawful purposes including commercial analytics, research, algorithm development, service improvement, benchmarking, and development of new products or services. ## 6. Identification Results PawsitivID may provide automated identification assistance using image-analysis technologies. Results are informational and should not be relied upon as definitive proof of identity or ownership. Users remain responsible for verifying identification through appropriate methods. ## 7. Identity and Ownership Disclaimer The Services may assist users in identifying animals based on images or data submitted by users. Such identification results are generated through automated processes and may not be accurate in all circumstances. The Services do not establish legal ownership or title to any animal. Users remain responsible for verifying ownership through appropriate documentation such as licensing records, veterinary records, microchips, or other recognized identification methods. ## 8. Municipal Licensing Programs Certain features of the Services may allow users to apply for, renew, or manage pet licenses issued by participating municipalities. Licensing requirements, fees, eligibility rules, and enforcement policies are established and administered solely by the applicable municipality. Company does not determine licensing eligibility, enforce licensing regulations, or control municipal policies. Users should consult the applicable municipal licensing authority for official rules and requirements. ## 9. Veterinary and Health Information Disclaimer The Services may include informational tools relating to animal health, wellness, or veterinary topics, including features provided through Animal Tech Talk. Such information is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
